The Company was founded under the name of Araki Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in 1958 (or the 33rd of Showa), as a corporation manufacturing an overhead crane. It was the time when the Japan’s high economic growth age had just started. Since then, ARAKI, thanks to the unflagging efforts of each and every member, has been growing through the ups and downs of the trade over the past 60 or so years, opening up a new avenue for yet another development of technology.

Identifying the areas in need of attention due to the change of the times, Araki has been successfully meeting the needs of customers. In addition to developing various types of cranes and automatic conveyance systems, Araki set about opening new market and made a great expansion into the new sectors of industrial equipment as well; such as human assist technology by robot-human collaboration system, etc. side by side with the invention of various types of power-saving devices that revealed opportunities and potential to create an efficient work environment focused on safety. By the new development of technologies such as this, we continue to provide solutions indispensable for the production of automobiles, etc. for our corporate customers.

Araki has been and will be contributing to the betterment in the forefront of product making industries. While developing various types of cranes and automatic conveyance systems, we obtained many intellectual property rights and patents. We also acquired the “Technical Innovations Award” from the Robotics Society of Japan two times by these efforts. We are now in the process of yet another challenge to develop automatic equipment to perform a safer and more efficient assembly work by human-machine collaboration.

Taking advantage of our accumulated expertise in developing new products is our core competence of Araki. Confronted with many unformidable walls and difficulties in research and development, we are always encouraged, which makes us determine to face another new challenge for opening up our path untrodden towards bright and successful future with a new awareness and dedication. The spirit of challenge for creation is our corporate DNA, and it has been our source of driving force to tide over the new wave, and our basic stance will continue to be the same in the future to come. Sharing this principle together with our team members, as we have done so far, we are determined to contribute to a more prosperous society with our superior technologies and fresh sensitivity in the spirit of perfect unity.
